Hey Guys,
Today we're very excited to announce that the papers have been signed & the ink is now dry: we are ready to unveil our latest project.
It brings us great excitement to say that FlyingIron Simulations is coming to DCS World by Eagle Dynamics!
We will be developing the LTV A-7E Corsair II, aka the 'SLUF'. Here are some very early WiP images for you to enjoy!
Please note that the artwork is still in the early stages & not representative of the final product. We hope you're as excited as we are!

Looking excellent!! I’ll bet it will go real good with the new aircraft carriers.
I cannot wait… I spent 8 years of my US Navy career as a fire control specialist on A7 E corsair, VA 83 on USS Forestall and VA-174 Cecil Field.
SLUF? Sweet!
I was just thinking about how cool the A-7 would be in DCS and this shows up! Being I grew up in Aurora, Colorado through the 80’s they had a bunch of A-7D’s stationed at Buckley Air Nation Guard’s 120th Tactical Fighter Squadron… They had replaced the F-100’s in the early 70’s and got replaced in the 90’s by the F-16.
I absolutely miss these beautiful aircraft flying overhead, and Thank You for keeping this bird alive and relevant!
Just wanted to say. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR DEVELOPING THE A-7! It’s my favourite aircraft and I have been wishing for it in DCS for ages.
