Version 1.1.0 of the MSFS Spitfire Mk IXc is now available! This update includes the highly anticipated flame VFX of the Merlin engine which fires in the correct sequence, the FlyingIron Tablet which includes a huge amount of helpful information and tools, and finally an FM overhaul which has lead to the most realistic simulation of our Spitfire yet!

I left the Spit in the hangar for a while again since the Xbox version has never worked properly. I tried the latest patch today (stating 1.06 on Series X) and at last the temp gauges work. But now the rudder trim is all over the place. It’s virtually impossible to achieve straight and level flight, even with no wind.
MS say it’s Flying Irons fault, Flying Irons say it’s MS’ fault. With neither offering a refund, nor accepting responsibility, I’m left with an expensive add-on that has had unfixed issues since launch and is now no joy to fly at all.
I’ll keep returning to the Spit in the hope one day it’ll work as it should, but after almost six months of lip service, I’ll unlikely buy from this developer in future.

You announce Update 1.1.0 yet I cannot find where, on this website, to download from?

After this update I am located on top of the fuselage in front of the windscreen. I cannot find a way to relocate to the cockpit interior. I reinstalled the previous version and all was fine? Unable to use the update at the moment!.
Can someone please respond to earlier questions, which I share. Where is the update? And couldn’t a link be provided on the News page announcing it?
