G’day everyone!
We’re happy to release the F6F-5 Hellcat Update 1.0.2 for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. This update addresses flight model issues introduced with Sim Update 4, while also delivering further flight model improvements for both MSFS 2020 and 2024. In addition, we’ve included a range of sound enhancements that bring the Hellcat’s audio quality closer in line with our more recent releases.

- Added sound triggers for folding wings
- Increased CFD resolution eightfold
- Retuned control input curves
- Increased control surface reactivity

- Added new high-fidelity wing/AoA lift coefficient profile

- Overall retuning of roll, pitch, and yaw stability and gyro stability parameters

- Removed parking brake from apron spawn
- Fixed runway spawn propeller position
- Fixed “10000th Hellcat” typo
- Enabled weapons for Marketplace users
Sound Updates
- Added wing fold sound effects
- Remade engine transitions, RPM settings, and pitch curves
- Improved synchronisation between engine tracks
- Added flyby effect
